1. About These Terms
These Terms of Service apply to purchases made through HealVia Medical at healviamedical.com.
By accessing this website or purchasing a digital product, you agree to these Terms, our Refund Policy, Privacy Policy and any product-specific notices displayed before purchase.
2. Digital Products
HealVia Medical sells educational digital PDF guides.
Unless otherwise stated on the product page:
• Products are delivered electronically
• No physical product will be shipped
• The stated language, file format and approximate page length are shown before purchase
• Customers are responsible for using a device and standard PDF-reading software capable of opening the file
3. Educational and Medical Disclaimer
HealVia Medical guides are provided for general educational and informational purposes only.
They do not provide personalised medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, clinical assessment or a professional patient–clinician relationship.
Information contained in a guide must not be used as a substitute for advice from a qualified surgeon, doctor, dietitian, pharmacist or other healthcare professional.
Always follow the individual instructions given by your own medical team.
In a medical emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service immediately.
4. Purchase and Delivery
After successful payment, the customer will receive access to the purchased digital product through the delivery method shown during checkout or in the order confirmation.
The customer is responsible for providing an accurate email address and keeping their order details secure.
Download access may be subject to the limit stated on the product page or in the delivery email.
5. Immediate Supply and Cancellation Rights
Where the customer requests immediate access to digital content, delivery may begin before the end of any statutory cancellation period.
Where required by applicable law, the customer will be asked to:
• expressly consent to the immediate supply of the digital content; and
• acknowledge that the right to cancel may be lost once downloading or access begins.
Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
6. Personal-Use Licence
Each digital product is licensed to the original purchaser for personal, non-commercial use only.
The customer may download and use the purchased guide for their own personal reference.
The customer must not:
• Share the file or download link with another person
• Reproduce or distribute the guide
• Upload the guide to a website, cloud-sharing service, group or social-media platform
• Resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the guide
• Remove copyright, licence or ownership notices
• Adapt the guide for resale or present it as their own work
• Use substantial parts of the guide to create a competing product
Purchasing a guide does not transfer copyright or intellectual-property ownership.
7. Intellectual Property
All text, graphics, layouts, branding, checklists and original materials included in HealVia Medical products remain the property of HealVia Medical or the relevant rights holder.
All rights not expressly granted under the personal-use licence are reserved.
8. Product Information
We take reasonable steps to describe each digital product accurately.
Medical knowledge and clinical guidance may change over time. Product content reflects the sources and review date stated in the relevant guide.
We do not guarantee that a guide will be suitable for every individual, healthcare provider or country.
9. Faulty or Incorrect Digital Content
Customers should contact us promptly if:
• The file is corrupted
• The wrong product is delivered
• The download cannot be accessed because of a verified problem on our side
• The product is materially different from its description
Where appropriate, we may provide technical assistance, renewed access, repair, replacement or another remedy required by applicable consumer law.
10. Refunds
Refund requests are handled according to our Refund Policy and applicable consumer law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes legal rights relating to faulty, misdescribed or unusable digital content.
11. Acceptable Use
Customers must not attempt to:
• Circumvent download restrictions
• Gain unauthorised access to the website or delivery system
• Copy, scrape or systematically extract website or product content
• Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes
• Introduce malware or interfere with website security
12. Third-Party Services
The website may use third-party services for hosting, payment processing, analytics and digital delivery.
Use of those services may also be governed by the relevant provider’s terms and privacy practices.
13. Limitation of Responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, HealVia Medical is not responsible for treatment decisions, medical outcomes or losses resulting from reliance on general educational information instead of personalised professional advice.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where limitation is prohibited by law, including liability arising from fraud or other rights that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when our products, website operations or legal obligations change.
The version applicable to an order is the version available when the order is placed, unless a mandatory legal requirement provides otherwise.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the law applicable to the contracting HealVia Medical business entity, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in the customer’s country of residence.
The final company name, registered address, company number and governing jurisdiction will be added once the contracting business entity is formally established.
